Jesus-Centered
Jesus Christ is the center of our worship, teaching, salvation, transformation, and mission.
Scripture-Founded
We believe the Bible is God's Word and the final authority for faith, doctrine, and holy living.
Spirit-Led
We believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live, serve, pray, witness, and grow in holiness.
1. Foundation of Faith
Living Fire Ministries is a Spirit-filled Pentecostal church committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the authority of Scripture, the power of prayer, and the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of every believer.
This beliefs page summarizes the core convictions that guide our ministry, teaching, worship, discipleship, outreach, and care for families in our community.
Our heart is simple: to see lives transformed by the fire of Jesus, homes restored by the Word of God, and generations raised up to follow Christ with power, holiness, and love.
2. The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It reveals who God is, shows us the way of salvation through Jesus Christ, teaches us how to live, and equips the Church for every good work.
- The Bible is our foundation for doctrine, preaching, teaching, correction, discipleship, and spiritual growth.
- We believe Scripture should be taught clearly, lived faithfully, and applied with grace and truth.
- We encourage every believer and every family to build their life on the Word of God.
3. The One True God
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is holy, loving, righteous, merciful, all-powerful, all-knowing, and worthy of all worship.
We believe God created all things, sustains all things, and invites people into relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
4. Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He came to reveal the Father, preach the Kingdom, save the lost, destroy the works of darkness, and reconcile humanity to God.
- Jesus lived without sin.
- Jesus died on the cross for our sins.
- Jesus rose from the dead in victory.
- Jesus ascended to the Father and intercedes for His people.
- Jesus will return in power and glory.
5. Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe salvation is a gift of God received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. No person can earn salvation by good works, religion, status, or personal effort. We are saved because of what Jesus has done.
We believe every person is called to repent, believe the Gospel, surrender to Jesus as Lord, and be born again by the Spirit of God.
6. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is active today. He convicts, regenerates, fills, empowers, sanctifies, comforts, teaches, guides, and equips believers to serve Jesus and live holy lives.
As a Pentecostal ministry, we believe the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit are for the Church today and should operate in a way that glorifies Jesus, builds up the Body of Christ, and reflects the fruit of the Spirit.
- The Holy Spirit empowers believers for witness and ministry.
- The Holy Spirit produces spiritual fruit and Christlike character.
- The Holy Spirit leads the Church in prayer, worship, service, and mission.
7. Baptism and Communion
Water Baptism
We believe water baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. It represents identification with His death, burial, and resurrection, and it expresses the believer's new life in Him.
Communion
We believe Communion is a sacred remembrance of the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Through Communion, believers remember His sacrifice, proclaim His death, and examine their hearts before God.
8. Prayer and Worship
We believe prayer is essential to the life of the believer and the mission of the Church. Prayer is not a program; it is communion with God, dependence on the Holy Spirit, and partnership with Heaven.
We believe worship belongs to God alone. We worship in spirit and truth, with reverence, passion, gratitude, and surrender.
We are a prayer-first ministry. We believe families, homes, cities, and generations can be changed when God's people seek Him with faith and obedience.
9. Holy Living
We believe the Gospel does not only forgive sin; it transforms lives. Every believer is called to follow Jesus, walk in holiness, love others, reject sin, grow in character, and live as a witness of Christ.
We believe holiness should be expressed with humility, truth, compassion, integrity, and love. We desire to speak the truth in love and help people grow through discipleship, not condemnation.
10. The Church and the Great Commission
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship God, preach the Gospel, make disciples, serve one another, care for the hurting, and reach the lost.
Living Fire Ministries exists to disciple and equip people through God's Word so they can live holy, Spirit-empowered lives and carry the fire of Jesus into their homes, workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, and nations.
- We believe every believer has a purpose in the Body of Christ.
- We believe families and children matter to God.
- We believe leaders must be raised, trained, and sent.
- We believe the Gospel is for all nations, all cultures, and every generation.
11. Healing, Hope and Restoration
We believe Jesus brings hope to the broken, freedom to the bound, healing to the wounded, and restoration to lives and families. We pray in faith, care with compassion, and trust God to work according to His will and His Word.
We also encourage people to seek appropriate professional care, emergency services, counseling, or medical support when needed.
12. Our Mission
Our mission is to disciple and equip people through the Word of God to live holy, Spirit-empowered lives, walk in obedience to Jesus Christ, and impact their homes, communities, and generations for the Kingdom of God.
13. Our Vision
Our vision is to see transformed homes, transformed communities, and transformed generations reflecting the life, love, holiness, and power of Jesus Christ.
