About Us

Living Fire Ministries

A new Pentecostal church plant with a heart to reach our community with the hope of Jesus Christ, disciple believers, strengthen families, and see lives transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our Story

A Church Planted With Faith

Living Fire Ministries is a new church plant with a heart to reach our community with the hope of Jesus Christ. We believe God is calling us to build a church where people can encounter His presence, be grounded in His Word, and grow as authentic disciples of Christ.

As we begin this journey, our focus is on serving our community, building meaningful relationships, and sharing the gospel with those around us. We are especially passionate about investing in children and families, believing that a strong foundation in Christ can impact generations to come.

We are committed to being a church that reflects the beauty of God’s Kingdom — a multicultural family of believers united by the gospel. We believe the church is strongest when people from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences come together as one body to worship, serve, and grow in Christ.

More than simply growing a congregation, our desire is to make disciples — people who know God’s Word, walk in obedience to Him, and are empowered by the Holy Spirit to live out their faith every day.

We are planting with faith and expectation, believing that God will use Living Fire Ministries to bring hope, healing, and transformation to our community for generations to come.

Pastor

Emanuel Tapia Nunez

Pastor Emanuel Tapia Nunez came to faith in Jesus Christ as a young adult and has spent decades serving the Lord with a passion for reaching the lost. His ministry began through evangelism, using his gifts as a Christian rap artist to share the Gospel and connect with people who might never step foot inside a church.

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Pastor Emanuel served in local missions and prison ministry, faithfully sharing the hope of Christ wherever God opened a door. He graduated from Verbo Divino Bible Institute in Santo Domingo and later became an ordained minister through the Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee.

In 2016, Pastor Emanuel immigrated to the United States to help care for his mother-in-law during a difficult season of declining health. What began as a step of obedience to serve family became part of God’s greater plan for ministry in the United States.

Pastor Emanuel longs to see men and women come to the feet of Jesus, discover the gifts and calling God has placed within them, be equipped through discipleship, and be sent out to impact the world with the Gospel.

Together with his wife, Pastor Eleanor Arguinzoni, they serve as pastors of Living Fire Ministries. Married for over 12 years, they are blessed with two children, Keziah and Jeremiah.

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”Psalm 32:8
Pastor

Eleanor Arguinzoni

Pastor Eleanor Arguinzoni is passionate about helping women and families become firmly rooted in God’s Word and equipped to fulfill His purpose for their lives. She believes that some of the most important ministry happens through everyday discipleship — teaching, encouraging, and walking alongside others as they grow in their faith.

Her call to ministry was not marked by a single moment, but by a faithful progression of obedience. It began in the church nursery, where she saw a need and stepped in to serve. Over time, God entrusted her with greater responsibilities, eventually serving as a children’s director and leading Bible studies for both men and women.

Originally from upstate New York, Pastor Eleanor spent several years living in the Dominican Republic, where she met her husband, Pastor Emanuel Tapia Nunez. Together they served in local missions and have led multiple mission teams to the Dominican Republic over the years.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Education and is an ordained minister through the Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee. She carries a special burden for women, children, and family discipleship.

As a homeschooling mother of two, she believes that parents are the primary disciplers of their children and often says that children are our first disciples.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to give you hope and a future.”Jeremiah 29:11
